Claude is a family of AI models made by Anthropic. Many people consider it one of the best AI assistants for writing, long documents, careful reasoning and code, and it handles Bangla well. The problem for most people in Bangladesh is not the AI. It is paying for it.
Can you use Claude in Bangladesh?
Yes. The free version of Claude on Anthropic's own website can be used from Bangladesh, with limits on how much you can use it each day. The paid plans are where people get stuck.
Why paying is the hard part
Anthropic's own paid plan, Claude Pro, costs about $20 a month (check the official pricing page for the current price). To pay it you need a card that works for international online payments, such as a dual-currency card with a dollar endorsement. Many students and professionals in Bangladesh do not have one, and those who do still pay bank fees and depend on the exchange rate. The plan also renews and charges you every month until you cancel.
Your options
1. Use the free version. Good for trying it out. You hit the daily limit quickly if you use it for real work.
2. Get an international card and subscribe directly. The official route. You pay around $20 a month plus card fees, in dollars.
3. Buy a "shared account". You will see these sold cheaply in Facebook groups. We do not recommend them: other people can read your chats, a password change can lock you out, and the account can be banned at any time with no refund. Read our guide on shared AI accounts (in Bangla).
4. Use an AI workspace that lets you pay in taka. Duplibot gives you Claude models (Haiku, Sonnet and Opus) in your own private account. You pay once for 30 days in taka with bKash, Nagad or a Bangladeshi card, and nothing renews automatically. There is also a free plan to try it.
What does it cost on Duplibot?
Plans start from a free plan with the Haiku model, then paid plans for 30 days at a time. Each plan includes a monthly allowance, and the app shows roughly what each reply costs before you send it. See pricing for current prices in taka and dollars.
Which Claude model should you use?
- Haiku for quick questions, translation and summaries.
- Sonnet for writing, assignments, code and analysis.
- Opus for hard problems and careful long documents.

Tips for good results in Bangla
- Say what you want in one sentence first, then add details.
- Tell it the format: "a formal application letter in Bangla", "five bullet points", "a table".
- For formal or technical Bangla, read the answer before you send it on. AI can make mistakes in any language.
