This policy explains what information Duplibot collects, why, who we share it with and the choices you have. We have tried to write it in plain language. If anything is unclear, email us at support@duplibot.com.
1. The short version
- Your chats are private to your account unless you choose to share a link.
- To answer you, we send your messages and attached files to the AI model provider that runs the model you picked.
- We do not sell your data, and we do not use it for advertising.
- We do not use your chats to train AI models.
- You can download your data or delete your chats at any time from Settings.
2. Information we collect
Account information. Your name, email address and password. We store the password only in a scrambled (hashed) form, so we cannot read it.
What you put into Duplibot. The messages you send, the replies you receive, files you upload, projects, saved prompts, your personal preferences, writing style and anything you save to Memory.
Usage information. For each request we record which model was used, how many tokens it used and what it cost. We use this to show your allowance, enforce plan limits, prevent abuse and keep our accounts.
Payment information. When you buy a plan we record the plan, amount, currency, payment method, the reference number from the payment provider and whether the payment succeeded. We never see or store your full card number, bKash or Nagad PIN, or crypto wallet keys. Those go directly to the payment provider.
Technical information. Like most websites, our servers log basic technical details such as your IP address, browser type and the time of each request. We use these to keep the service secure and to fix problems.
3. How we use your information
We use your information only to:
- provide the service, including generating replies, creating files and running your projects;
- manage your account, plan, allowance and payments;
- keep Duplibot secure and stop misuse, fraud and spam;
- answer your support requests;
- improve the product using overall usage figures, such as which features are popular.
We do not sell your personal information. We do not show you ads and we do not share your data with advertisers.
4. Who we share it with
We share information only with the services we need to run Duplibot:
- AI model providers. When you send a message, its content, any files you attach, and your saved preferences and memory are sent to the provider of the model you chose so that it can produce an answer. If you use web search or Deep Research, the search is carried out on our behalf through that provider. These providers process the data under their own terms.
- Payment providers. EPS (for bKash, Nagad and Bangladeshi cards), PayPal, Stripe and ATLOS (crypto), depending on the method you choose. They receive what they need to take your payment.
- Hosting and content delivery. Our servers, and the public networks that deliver fonts and code libraries to your browser (such as Google Fonts, cdnjs and jsDelivr), which can see your IP address when your browser loads them.
We may also disclose information if the law requires it, or if it is necessary to protect the safety of our users or the public.
5. Features that run in your browser
Some features run on your own device rather than on our servers:
- Cowork and Python. Code runs in a protected sandbox inside your browser. The files it creates stay on your device until you download them.
- Voice input and read aloud use your browser's built-in speech features. Depending on your browser, the audio for voice input may be processed by your browser's maker (for example Google in Chrome).
6. Share links
If you create a share link for a chat, anyone who has that link can read that chat, without signing in. You can turn the link off at any time from the chat menu. Please do not share chats that contain private information.
7. Cookies and local storage
We use a small number of essential cookies to keep you signed in and to protect forms against misuse. We also store a few settings in your browser, such as your light or dark theme. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies.
8. How long we keep your information
- Chats and files stay until you delete them. When you delete a chat, its uploaded files are deleted too.
- Your account stays until you ask us to close it.
- Usage and payment records are kept for as long as we need them for accounting, tax and legal reasons, even after you delete chats.
- Server logs are kept for a limited time and then removed.
9. Your choices and rights
- See and download your data: Settings → Your data → Download my data.
- Correct your details: Settings → Profile.
- Delete your chats: delete them one by one, or use Settings → Delete all chats.
- Clear your memory: edit or empty the Memory box in Settings.
- Close your account: email us at support@duplibot.com from your account email and we will delete your account and the data linked to it, except records we must keep by law.
10. Security
We protect your data with industry-standard measures, including encrypted connections (HTTPS), hashed passwords and access controls. No system is perfectly secure, so please use a strong password that you do not use anywhere else.
11. Children
Duplibot is not meant for children under 13. If you are under 18, please use it with the permission of a parent or guardian.
12. Data outside Bangladesh
Our AI and payment providers may process data in other countries. When we use them, we expect them to protect your information in line with this policy.
13. Changes to this policy
If we change this policy in a meaningful way, we will update the date above and let you know on the site or by email before the change takes effect.
